‘Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare’ New Update Released, Fixes The Major Multiplayer Issue!

So you have been playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s multiplayer modes over the last week and you will be very much aware there are a number of balancing issues during gameplay. Thankfully, it looks like developer Infinity Ward has been on it and has fixed some of them in the game’s first major update.

Perhaps the biggest change – as far as us players will be concerned – is that battle chatter has been removed from one-life modes. Operators will no longer yell “CONTACT!”, alerting every enemy in a 50-mile radius to your position.

Footsteps are now going to be quieter, and filter out based on things like walls and obstacles. That means you shouldn’t be heard as you try to sneak up on someone.

Another change is that stun grenades will now disable claymores for up to 3 seconds.

Infinity Ward have posted the full patch updates on Reddit, this also includes fixing some bugs that have caused crashes and tweaking some spawns and weapon balancing.

Since the games release on 25 October, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has become one of the best-selling CoD games of all time, and the fastest-selling of this console generation.
