Somebody paid a record $114,000 for Super Mario Bros!
According to CNN An anonymous buyer bid a record $114,000 (est £95k) for an unopened and rare copy of the classic video game Super Mario Bros.
The game originally released in 1985 by Nintendo has always been a fan favourite but who knew a game could be worth this much.
The version in question is particularly rare because the box has a cardboard hang tab underneath the plastic, an indication that it was produced after Nintendo started using shrink-wrap to seal the games.
On another note A copy of Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out!! sold for $50,400 (et £34k).
