The Legends of ‘The Legend of Zelda’
Even after 27 years of the launch of grey three-screw reissue of The Legend OF Zelda, it is still in demand. The classic has now become a collectible and the unopened copy sold for a whopping $3,300 at Heritage Auctions’ first certified and graded collectible video games auction.
It makes you wonder about how much a sealed original golden cartridge would sell for, considering this item had a 9.4 grading by Wata games and a B+ seal. Other NES games were also auctioned but were put to shame by the explicit demand for the game.
