Since the launch of the Nintendo Switch, players have been asking “what about the Virtual Console?” The Virtual Console was a huge hit on the Wii and thew Wii U, allowing players to download classic 8-bit and 16-bit titles from console history.
It was distinctly absent from Switch until Nintendo announced the NES games being made available monthly to subscribers of Nintendo Online. It was only a matter of time until they unleashed SNES classics on us.
It’s finally happened.
From the 5th Septmeber, Nintendo will be rolling out classic SNES titles to Nintendo Switch online. It’s a great time to be alive.
