10 Hidden Gems For The Nintendo Game Boy
Dexterity
Probably one of SNK’s lesser known titles and the first that appeared on the original Game Boy. Dexterity is a single screen puzzle game similar to Crush Roller or a top down version of Q-Bert. It was known as Funny Field in Japan which is maybe a better description and sounds less like a early 80’s board game. The aim is to flip over each tile on playfield to the same colour (shade of b&W) working against a time limit and random foes that get in your way. The enemies will of course turn each tile back over as they move, but you can eliminate them by flipping over a line either side to knock them over, or pushing a block into them.
This simple idea becomes more challenging on later levels with more difficult enemies and differing layouts including gaps, bridges, walls and movable objects. If you enjoy puzzle games and are looking for an alternative to the standard falling blocks then try this hidden gem.
